Today we celebrate award success once again as our work with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LTH) has scooped Highly Commended status in the Lord Carter Innovation Award 2017!
What’s particularly exciting about this award is that it’s the first ever Lord Carter Award to be held. LTH gained Highly Commended status for its implementation of Ingenica Solutions’ technology to secure efficiency and productivity gains; the announcement was made at the Hospital Innovations Exhibition and Conference.
“Amazing news! So very pleased that our work with LTH has gained such an accolade. LTH is a showcase example in the NHS of how innovative technologies can lead to enormous efficiency gains. It’s a great future-focused project that presents ever greater potential for further efficiency savings. Well done to everyone!” Nicola Hall, managing director.
Congratulations to the other successful trusts including East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust which was also highly commended, runner up Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and winner, The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
